How to Root Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8010

Steps to Root Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8010

First of all before we proceed with steps, download Samsung USB Drivers for your Windows computer and install them properly because its very important.

Step 1: Download the CF-Auto-Root Package for Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8010 on Android 4.4 KitKat Firmware and Odin.

Step 2: Now Turn Off your Galaxy Note 10.1 and boot it to Download Mode. For that, Turn it On while pressing and holding “Home + Power + Volume” buttons simultaneously.

Step 3: From Odin folder, run the .exe file to launch Odin and connect your tablet(which is in Download Mode) to your computer via USB cable. You will see ID:COM box light will turn blue if your phone is connected. If it isn’t, make sure you have properly install USB drivers on your computer.

Step 4: Now click on “AP” button in Odin and browse for the this file “CF-Auto-Root-t0lte-t0ltexx-gtn7105.tar.md5” (Extracted to desktop in Step 1). After that, make sure “Auto Reboot” , “F.Reset Time” and “Re-Partition” are checked.

Step 5: Check everything once again and if satisfied then click on “Start” button in the center at bottom to start the process of installation which will take few minutes. When your phone is booted and homescreen appears, disconnect it from your Computer.

Congratulations, you have successfully rooted your Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8010 on Android 4.4 KitKat. To verify root, use Root Checker application from Google Play Store.
