How to Root Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE GT-I9505

Step 1: Download the CF-Auto-Root Package for Galaxy S4 LTE GT-I9505 on Android 4.4.2 KitKat Lollipop Firmware.

Step 2: Download Odin for Windows. When both are downloaded, extract the zip files to desktop.

Step 2: Now Turn Off your Galaxy S4 LTE GT-I9505 and boot it to Download Mode. For that, Turn it On while pressing and holding “Home + Power + Volume” buttons simultaneously.

Step 3: From Odin folder, run the .exe file to launch Odin and connect your phone (which is in Download Mode) to your computer via USB cable. You will see ID:COM box light will turn blue if your phone is connected. If it isn’t, make sure you have properly install USB drivers on your computer.

Step 4: Now click on “AP” button in Odin and browse for the this file “***.tar.md5” (Extracted to desktop in Step 1). After that, make sure “Auto Reboot” , “F.Reset Time” and “Re-Partition” are checked.

Step 5: Check everything once again and if satisfied then click on “Start” button in the center at bottom to start the process of installation which will take few minutes. When your phone is booted and homescreen appears, disconnect it from your Computer.

Congratulations! Your Galaxy S4 LTE GT-I9505 is now rooted on Android 4.4.2 KitKat Stock Firmware using CF-Auto-Root.
