Steps to Setup ADB in Windows 7 and Windows 8 or 8.1

Step 1: First of all download the Android SDK from here.

Step 2: Install the Android SDK on your computer. When installation is done, go to its installed directory where it is installed and find folder that goes by name “platform-tools” and copy it to some other location.

Step 3: Now click on My Computer –> Properties –> Advance System Settings –> Advanced tab. there click on “Environment Variables”.

Step 4: At bottom click on “New” and choose any name for the variable and for path, select the folder “platform-tools” which you have moved in step 2.
