If you have recently updated your Galaxy A3 A300F to XXU1BOD5 Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OTA firmware then now you must be looking to root your phone because you have lost that. Alright, luckily you have found the right resource to achieve the desired result.
By rooting your Galaxy A3 A300F, you will actually unlock lot of opportunities and privileges that you can’t get with un-rooted device. However we don’t recommend you to root your device if you don’t know what it does so this is for advanced users only. Once your Galaxy A3 is rooted, you will be able to add Custom ROMS, Kernels and other customizations to improve the overall Lollipop experience. One thing that I wanted to share is that this CF-Auto-Root method to root Galaxy A3 A300F is only tested of XXUABOD5 Android 5.0.2 Lollipop Firmware and it won’t work if your A3 is on another firmware. You can confirm firmware from Settings –> About Device.
- First of all ensure that you have Samsung Galaxy A3 USB Drivers installed on your computer.
- Make a complete backup of all your important data using CWM recovery or TWRP and keep it safe.
- Enable the USB Debugging Mode on your phone from Settings –> Developer Options –> “Enable USB Debugging”.
- Your Galaxy A3 SM-A300F should be unlocked.
