Samsung to Add New Features to Galaxy S6/Edge Camera App in Android 5.1.1 Update

In these days when buying a new smartphone, one people worry most about beside the phone look is camera. Although Samsung did great job with Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge cameras and there is not doubt they have the best cameras at the moment in market, but as you know there is always room for improvement and so is Samsung thinking.

Galaxy S6 Camera App RAW

According to some authentic sources as per SamMobile, Samsung is working on bringing new features to its new flagships: Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge that will make it even more impressive and stunning. The current camera app which comes with simple user interface and handy features like fast snapping etc, will be updated to support new features like shooting in RAW, controlling shutter speed from app etc. It is worth mentioning that these features are available in HTC and LG new flagships, which might be the reason Samsung is so desperate to include them in its flagships too.

Other new thingy can be adding support for full Google camera API which was introduced with Android Lollipop and according to sources, these new features will come in camera app of Galaxy Note 4 out of the box. So far nothing can be said about the dates of Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update for Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, however, we hope it will be sooner than later.
