Update Galaxy Note 2 LTE N7105 to Official XXUFNE3 4.4.2 KitKat Stock Firmware

After updating its high end phones with Lollipop, Samsung trolled Note 2 LTE N7105 users by releasing Official XXUFNE4 stock firmware based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. While I am sure you must be looking for some Lollipop custom ROM for Note 2 but still if you prefer stock firmware, you can install the new released one.

Safety Guidelines

  • First of all ensure that you have Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus Drivers installed on your computer.
  • Make a complete backup of all your important data using CWM recovery or TWRP and keep it safe.
  • Enable the USB Debugging Mode on your phone from Settings –> Developer Options –> “Enable USB Debugging”.
  • Your Galaxy Note 2 LTE N7105 should be unlocked.

Steps to Update Galaxy Note 2 LTE N7105 to Official XXUFNE3 4.4.2 KitKat Stock Firmware

Step 1: Download the XXUFNE3 4.4.2 KitKat Stock Firmware for your Galaxy Note 2 LTE N7105 along with Odin and place both on desktop. Extract both zips.

Step 2: Now Turn Off your Galaxy Note 2 LTE N7105 and boot it to Download Mode. For that, Turn it On while pressing and holding “Home + Power + Volume” buttons simultaneously.

Step 3: From Odin folder, run the .exe file to launch Odin and connect your phone (which is in Download Mode) to your computer via USB cable. You will see ID:COM box light will turn blue if your phone is connected. If it isn’t, make sure you have properly install USB drivers on your computer.

Step 4: Now click on “AP” button in Odin and browse for the firmware files you have downloaded. After that, make sure “Auto Reboot” , “F.Reset Time” and “Re-Partition” are checked.

Step 5: Check everything once again and if satisfied then click on “Start” button in the center at bottom to start the process of installation which will take few minutes. Once your phone is updated, it will reboot automatically.
